Job summary

Michaels in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Store Associate to assist customers, guide product searches, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. The role involves stocking, merchandising, and participating in omnichannel tasks to support Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience, will work nights and weekends as needed, and will help uphold store standards and brand promises. Training provided and team environment emphasized.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the store.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the rewards program and enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock merchandise; support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; serve as a role model for team members
