Job summary

Michaels Stores in Columbus Easton OH is hiring a Store Team Member to deliver friendly service, assist customers, stock shelves, and process checkout. You will be part of a busy retail environment, ensuring accuracy and a positive shopping experience for every guest.

You will handle truck unload, merchandise recovery, planogram maintenance, and assist with omni-channel tasks like BOPIS and SFS. This role requires standing long hours and lifting packages; full-time hours and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to assist customers, locate products, and provide solutions.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram maintenance.
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and in-stock merchandising.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies and standards.
• Interact professionally; promote company values; be a role model for team members.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
