Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and making every visit great.
• Lead by example and maintain positive employee relations, fostering teamwork and accountability.
• Plan, prepare, and adjust work schedules; assign duties and follow up to ensure timely completion.
• Supervise store activities across departments or perform work at all job levels as needed.
• Ensure proper customer service and address issues promptly and professionally.
• Train employees on store policies, procedures, and job duties; provide ongoing education on updated rules.
• Evaluate employee performance and recommend promotions or transfers.
• Maintain safety procedures and complete required reports for accidents.
• Order merchandise, verify deliveries, and report discrepancies.
• Determine location of ad displays and ensure product quality meets demand.
• Analyze sales and inventory data and payroll basics for management decisions.
• Maintain confidentiality of pricing, reports, and wages.
• Adhere to Hy-Vee policies and store guidelines.
• Punctually report to work as scheduled.
