Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This position will also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience in auto parts (desired).
• Automotive systems knowledge (desired).
• ASE Certification (desired).
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Ensure buy online/ship to store and related transfers are processed promptly and notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and per procedure.
• Process retail returns and exchanges and issue refunds with correct payment methods.
• Invoice all merchandise before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure team members clock in/out and follow the posted work schedule.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day end procedures including deposits.
• All other duties as assigned.
