Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, service, and store operations. The role includes shift management duties when leadership is absent and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

The position emphasizes excellent customer service, proper handling of orders and returns, and adherence to company policies. Candidates with automotive knowledge and ASE/RSS certifications will be favored.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience preferred, auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Bilingual in Spanish highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure adherence to service programs.
• Handle store operations such as opening/closing duties, cash handling, and bank deposits as needed.
• Ensure orders, transfers, and shipments are processed timely and communicated to customers.
• Process returns and exchanges accurately and ensure proper invoicing.
• Delegate merchandising tasks and ensure schedule adherence by team members.
• Support shift management in absence of Store Manager.
