Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Columbus, MS seeks a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and daily operations. This role may assume shift management in their absence and encourages bilingual candidates.

You will lead team members in serving retail and professional customers, manage front-end tasks, and uphold safety and service standards. Growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Bilingual abilities desired, Spanish highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure execution of service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy and that orders, transfers, and ship-to-store activities are processed timely.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds with accuracy and courtesy.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store and that security procedures are followed.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks to the team.
• Support opening/closing duties, cash handling, and end-of-day procedures.
