Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Retail Service Specialist to assist the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. You may take on shift management in their absence. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

The role emphasizes strong communication and teamwork while handling store procedures, returns, and merchandising to ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience desired, preferably in auto parts, with knowledge of automotive systems and ASE certification encouraged.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Ensure all buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders are processed in a timely manner.
• Ensure special orders and outside purchases are handled efficiently according to procedure.
• Ensure returns are processed, refunds issued, and merchandise staged properly.
• Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Adhere to posted work schedule; clock in/out according to policy.
• Perform all store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, including deposits and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
