O'Reilly Auto Parts in West Jefferson, NC is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, service, store appearance and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of management; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels in the showroom and ensure program execution (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Ensure buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders are processed promptly and customers are informed on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds accurately, and stage returned merchandise.
• Invoicing of all merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to posted schedules, approvals for deviations, and correct clocking in/out.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, including money deposits and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
