O'Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, service, and store operations in Aberdeen, SD.

This role may assume shift management in the absence of supervisors, with bilingual candidates encouraged to apply to assist a diverse customer base. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to drive store performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Ensure returns and exchanges are processed accurately and refunds issued correctly.
• Invoicing of all merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Confirm schedule adherence and clock-in/out per policy.
• Perform all opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, including deposits and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
