O’Reilly Auto Parts in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of management.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom floor including execution of service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders promptly, contacting customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Process retail customer returns and exchanges; issue refunds with correct payment methods.
• Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure staff adhere to posted schedules, and clock in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day end procedures, money/deposits per policy, prepare deposits, secure building, arm/disarm alarms, and check/lock delivery vehicles.
• All other duties as assigned.
