Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of the managers.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, with fluency in Spanish highly desirable. The team focuses on delivering excellent service and efficient store processes, including POS and merchandising duties.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification
• Retail sales experience preferred; automotive knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure program execution.
• Ensure phone calls are answered per policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub transfers, and store-to-store orders promptly and notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently.
• Process returns and exchanges with accurate refunds and proper staging.
• Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to work schedules and proper clock in/out.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures including deposits and security.
