Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. The role may assume shift management in absence of managers.

Qualifications

• Required: Strong communication skills
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification
• Desired: Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge
• ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels in the retail showroom and ensure adherence to service programs.
• Ensure telephones are answered according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders promptly and contact customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently according to procedure.
• Ensure retail returns and exchanges are processed efficiently and refunds issued accurately using correct payment methods.
• Invoice all merchandise before it leaves the store, including core charges and warranties.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure staff follow posted schedules and clock in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, including security measures.
• All other duties as assigned.
