Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, customer service, appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift leadership when managers are absent.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. You will lead team members in delivering exceptional service, manage phone inquiries, process orders and returns, and perform opening/closing procedures with cash handling. Competitive compensation and benefits apply.

• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom with program execution.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders; contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges; issue refunds with correct payment methods.
• Invoicing of merchandise including core charges and warranties before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to posted schedules, and proper clock-in/out according to policy.
• Perform opening/closing duties, day end procedures, secure deposits, bank deposits, and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
