Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This position will also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure team execution of service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and per procedure.
• Ensure returns and exchanges are processed and refunds issued correctly.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before it leaves the store and coupons/characters are handled correctly.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks to the team.
• Adhere to posted schedules and clock in/out according to policy.
• Perform opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
