Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role includes shift management in the Manager's absence and encourages bilingual candidates.

You will lead a team in delivering outstanding customer service to retail and professional customers, handle in-store transactions, and ensure compliance with company procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• ASE Certification or automotive knowledge preferred.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise showroom customer service levels and execute customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Ensure returns are processed efficiently with correct refunds and proper staging.
• Invoicing of merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Manage schedule adherence and clock-in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and security checks.
