Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in their absence.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience in auto parts is preferred.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge is preferred.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom and ensure program execution (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).
• Answer telephone according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders timely.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds correctly, and stage returned merchandise.
• Ensure all merchandise is invoiced before it leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure staff adhere to schedules and clock-in/out policies, and perform opening/closing duties.
