Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store leadership in sales, customer service, and operations. This role involves shift management in the absence of the Store Manager and supervising service programs for both retail and professional customers.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, and the role includes duties from opening/closing to end-of-day cash handling and security checks. Automotive knowledge and RSS certification readiness are valued.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure team execution of service programs.
• Answer telephone according to policy and handle transfer, ship-to-store, and back-office orders promptly.
• Process special orders, outside purchases, and returns efficiently with correct refunds and invoicing.
• Ensure all merchandise is invoiced and responsibilities like zipline messaging and image merchandising are completed.
• Manage opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, cash handling, deposits, and security measures.
