Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role also assumes shift management in the absence of management and requires strong communication skills.

• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure execution of customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders promptly and contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges and issue refunds using correct payment methods.
• Ensure merchandise invoicing before product leaves the store, including core charges and warranties.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Monitor work schedules, approvals for deviations, and proper clocking in/out.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, money deposits, and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
