Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role also handles shift management when leadership is absent. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

You will lead a team to deliver outstanding service, manage daily tasks such as order processing, returns, and inventory, and ensure policy adherence and security procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Ensure all buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders are processed in a timely manner.
• Ensure special orders and outside purchases are handled efficiently and according to procedure.
• Ensure retail customer returns and exchanges are processed efficiently, refunds issued accurately, and merchandise is staged correctly.
• Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure team members clock in/out according to policy and follow posted work schedules.
• Perform all store opening/closing duties, day end procedures, deposits, security checks, and vehicle security.
