Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to assist the Store Manager and Assistants with sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may assume shift management in the absence of supervisors, with bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

You will lead the team in delivering excellent service to retail and professional customers, oversee service programs, and ensure efficient processing of orders, transfers, returns, and invoicing.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service.
• Supervise customer service levels and programs.
• Handle telephone calls according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently.
• Process returns and exchanges and issue refunds correctly.
• Invoice all merchandise before it leaves the store (including core charges).
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Monitor schedule adherence and clocking in/out per policy.
• Perform opening/closing duties and cash handling, deposits when needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
