Job summary

Michaels is looking for team members to deliver friendly customer service in a fast-paced retail environment in Novi, MI. You will help customers find products, assist with checkout, and participate in store operations including stocking and merchandising.

The role emphasizes customer engagement, participation in rewards programs, and cross-training in framing services. Evening/weekend availability is common in retail roles.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards and enrollments
• Assist with omni-channel processes including BOPIS and SFS
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Maintain stock and merchandise recovery; manage returns/go-backs
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Follow SOPs and company policies
• Interact respectfully and model Michaels values
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
