Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a retail team member at our store in Woodhaven, MI. You will help customers find products, ring up purchases, enroll them in rewards, and support online order processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

The role requires standing for long periods, stocking merchandise, and assisting with framing services as needed. Flexible scheduling including nights and weekends is common.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and reach high shelves.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments.
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes (BOPIS and SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain stock and merchandising; complete returns/go backs.
• Support SISO and AD set duties; assist shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; be a positive role model.
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
