Michaels in Illinois (New Lenox) is seeking a Retail Associate to assist customers, handle checkout, and support store operations. You will engage with shoppers on Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards, participate in omnichannel processes, and help keep the store well-stocked and presentable.

The role emphasizes friendly service, adherence to SOPs, and teamwork in a climate-controlled public retail setting. Applicants must meet age requirements and comply with company policies.

Qualifications

• Retail and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and store maintenance including returns and re-stocks.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
