Michaels Stores in Bloomingdale, IL is seeking a team member to deliver friendly customer service and assist customers with product selection in a fast-paced retail environment. You will manage checkout and cash handling to standards and promote the Michaels Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.

Responsibilities include stocking, truck unloading, planograms, and merchandise recovery to maintain an in-stock, well-merchandised store.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns; keep store well-merchandised and in-stock
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; serve as a role model for others
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
