Job summary

Michaels Stores in Merced, CA is hiring a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast checkout. You will also help unload trucks, stock shelves, and keep the store well-merchandised and in stock.

You will participate in BOPIS/SFS, support store recovery, and follow SOPs and safety standards. Applicants must be at least 16 years old; the role includes a base pay range shown below.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Must meet age requirement: 16 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the rewards program and enrollments.
• Assist with omni-channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Support store recovery, merchandise returns, and in-stock maintenance.
• Follow SOPs and company policies to ensure compliance.
