Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a part-time Service Team Member at our Merced, CA store. You will deliver fast, friendly checkout experiences and help customers locate products while unloading trucks and stocking merchandise.

You will participate in planogram maintenance, BOPIS/SFS processes, and store recovery activities to ensure a well-merchandised, in-stock environment. Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience, can stand for long periods, lift merchandise, and

Qualifications

Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move merchandise as needed.
Good communication and friendly demeanor when assisting customers.

Responsibilities

Deliver fast and friendly checkout experiences and process transactions to standards.
Help customers shop, locate products and provide solutions.
Unload trucks and stock shelves while maintaining planograms (POGs).
Maintain store recovery standards and merchandise presentation to support brand promises.
Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS) processes.
Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs and company policies.
