Job summary

Michaels Store in Santa Barbara is seeking a team member to assist customers, help them locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining shelves to keep the store well-merchandised.

The role includes supporting omnichannel processes like Buy Online Pickup In Store and Ship From Store, enforcing SOPs, and promoting the Rewards program.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Promote and enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Maintain in-stock, well-merchandised store and complete merchandise recovery.
