Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a Store Associate in Keizer, OR to deliver friendly customer service and assist customers throughout the store. You will help shoppers locate products, handle checkout, enroll customers in rewards programs, and participate in truck unloading and stocking to maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

You’ll engage with customers about the rewards program, complete VOC surveys, and support Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes, with cross training

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating products and providing solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with omnichannel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram maintenance.
• Support store recovery, returns, and in-stock conditions.
• Cover Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Interact respectfully with customers and team members; model company values.
• Cross train in Custom Framing selling and production.
