Job summary

Michaels in Oregon City is seeking a friendly Store Associate to help customers with framing solutions, answer questions, and keep a safe, well merchandised store. You will assist customers, find products, and provide framing guidance throughout the shopping experience.

You will also process framing orders, operate the cash register, stock shelves, and participate in truck unloads while delivering accurate product recommendations and maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Basic measuring skills required.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Build relationships with customers while creating custom framing solutions and deliver sales and production results.
• Complete framing orders with high quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
• Deliver friendly customer service; help customers shop and find what they are looking for; provide a well merchandised and in-stock store.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Interact with others in a respectful manner and promote the organization’s vision and values.
• Assist with truck unload and stocking processes to meet truck standards and stay within budget.
• Operate cash register and perform cash handling to standards.
• Acknowledge customers, locate products and provide solutions.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
