Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking team members for a Keizer, OR store to deliver friendly service and help customers find what they need. This role emphasizes fast checkout, accurate cash handling, and engaging customers in rewards programs.

Team members participate in truck unloading, stocking, planograms, and merchandise recovery, while supporting omnichannel options like BOPIS and Ship From Store. Benefits, employee discounts, and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Familiarity with store policies and cash handling standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and find what they’re looking for
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Responsible to complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including the merchandise return / go back process
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs
