Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Customer Service Associate for our store in Richmond, VA. You will help customers find products, provide fast checkout, and engage shoppers in rewards programs and card enrollments. You’ll also support omnichannel processes like Buy Online Pickup In Store and Ship From Store.

Responsibilities include stocking, shelf maintenance, planograms, and merchandise recovery. A positive, team-oriented attitude and ability to work nights/weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC surveys
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and go backs
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; model positive behavior
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Other duties as assigned
