GardaWorld Security is seeking a Security Account Manager for an on-site role in Fairfax, VA, dedicated to a retail client. The position focuses on overseeing security operations, developing site-specific plans, and coordinating with client leadership to ensure a safe shopping environment.

The role requires prior retail security experience, supervisory capability, and strong written/verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Previous experience working in a retail environment is required.
• Supervisory or leadership experience in security services required.
• Ability to stay composed and professional in high-pressure environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to write clear, concise reports.
• Strong situational awareness, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security operations within a retail environment.
• Develop, supervise, and maintain site-specific security plans and procedures.
• Support the development and implementation of security programs and procedures for the retail client.
• Train security personnel and applicable client staff on site-specific security procedures.
• Partner closely with client leadership to identify security needs and maintain a safe and secure retail environment.
• Coordinate with local municipal police regarding security procedures at each site.
• Conduct security violation investigations, report results and resolutions as well as recommendations.
• Notify owner immediately of any serious incidents.
• Maintain Security Records
• Provide a monthly report of security procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
