GardaWorld is seeking a Security Account Manager for an on-site role in Fairfax, VA. You will oversee security operations in a retail environment, develop site-specific plans, and train staff.

You’ll partner with client leadership, coordinate with local police, and deliver monthly security reports to maintain a safe client site. The role requires the ability to work evenings/weekends, strong written/verbal communication, and proven leadership in security services.

We’re seeking dedicated, professional Security Account Manager who take pride in vigilance, presentation, performance, and guest service. This full-time role is based on-site in Fairfax, VA for a client.

Your Responsibilities as an Account Manager

• Oversee security operations within a retail environment.
• Develop, supervise, and maintain site-specific security plans and procedures.
• Support the development and implementation of security programs and procedures for the retail client.
• Train security personnel and applicable client staff on site-specific security procedures.
• Partner closely with client leadership to identify security needs and maintain a safe and secure retail environment.
• Coordinate with local municipal police regarding security procedures at each site.
• Conduct security violation investigations, report results and resolutions as well as recommendations.
• Notify owner immediately of any serious incidents.
• Maintain Security Records
• Provide a monthly report of security procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Previous experience working in a retail environment is required.
• Supervisory or leadership experience in security services required.
• Ability to stay composed and professional in high-pressure environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to write clear, concise reports.
• Strong situational awareness, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Physical Demands

This position involves extensive walking, standing, and bending. Work conditions may include exposure to crowded areas, loud environments, Account Managers must be prepared to respond to unpredictable or hazardous situations as part of their regular duties.

• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices related to retail security and loss prevention.
• Ability to evaluate and respond to potential threats with sound judgment.
• Proven ability to work effectively with diverse individuals, even under stress or conflicting conditions.
