Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager for our Knox-Maryville, TN store.

You will lead a high-performing team, champion a customer-focused selling culture, and ensure brand standards and SOPs are followed to deliver strong sales and service results. You will coach staff, provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, oversee POS/self-checkout, and manage programs like Loyalty Rewards and protection plans, while driving omni-channel services including BOPIS and same-day delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team to meet SOPs and brand standards.
• Coach staff on customer experience and selling behaviors.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and floor leadership.
• Ensure effective use of POS and Self-Checkout systems.
• Drive omni-channel services (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery).
• Oversee store programs (Loyalty, protection plans).
• Develop team through onboarding and ongoing training.
