The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager for a Knox-Maryville, TN store. You will lead a high-performing sales culture across front-end and service operations, coaching a team to deliver a premier customer experience and achieve key KPIs.

Responsibilities include SOP compliance, policy execution, and driving omni-channel services (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery) with a focus on loyalty enrollment and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail leadership experience.
• Experience coaching a high-performing sales team.
• Ability to lead front-end and service operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure adherence to policies and store standards; drive results.
• Model and coach customer experience and selling behaviors to improve conversion.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Ensure effective use of POS and Self-Checkout systems for smooth transactions.
• Oversee in-store programs (Balloons, Loyalty, MCC/Extend) and omni-channel services.
• Drive sales and operational excellence in knit & sew shop and cut bar experience.
• Support BOPIS and Same Day Delivery execution and order fulfillment.
• Train, coach, and develop team members across departments.
