Job summary

Macy's is seeking a Selling and Support Captain to serve as a customer advocate and role model for a busy store team. As an elevated hourly colleague, you will blend customer service excellence with merchandising and omni-selling initiatives under a People Leader’s guidance.

The role includes supervising selling floor activities, leading colleagues on assigned tasks, and promoting the Macy's mobile app to enhance the in-store experience.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of direct retail experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities

• Fulfilling customer orders and merchandising on the selling floor.
• Lead colleagues to complete assigned tasks and uphold store standards.
• Promote Macy's mobile app to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
• Support store opening/closing procedures and handle register transactions.
• Educate colleagues on POS tech and RF equipment to assist in selling and fulfillment.
