Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; minimum six months sales-related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of pricing, discounting and estimating formulas.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP software.
• Knowledge of product lines and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist retail customers in person, via phone or email with product selection.
• Provide material estimates and quotes for small packages.
• Enter orders into the system and schedule delivery.
• Plan own work to meet daily/weekly productivity goals.
• Support store workshops and handle customer inquiries.
• Resolve simple complaints; escalate complex issues.
• Maintain housekeeping, signage, stocking and inventory control.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in safety meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
