Job summary

Michaels Stores in Texas is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing store team, drive strong sales, and deliver an engaging customer experience. You will supervise front-end and service operations, coach staff, and ensure brand standards and SOP compliance across all daily activities.

Responsibilities include coaching on selling behaviors, managing POS systems, leading in-store programs, BOPIS/Same Day Delivery, and protecting assets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of Company policies and standards, holding team accountable.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling to drive conversion.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout systems for smooth transactions.
• Oversee in-store programs and events (Balloons, birthday parties, etc.).
• Promote Loyalty Rewards Program to drive retention and repeat visits.
• Champion MCC/Extend services and protection plans.
• Drive sales and omni-channel service in Knit & Sew Shop and Cut Bar.
• Ensure efficient execution of BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Support Custom Framing operations with consultations and coordination.
• Train and develop team through onboarding and ongoing coaching.
• Maintain Asset Protection practices and reduce shrink.
