Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Retail Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store, driving strong sales and delivering an engaging customer experience.

You will supervise front-end and service operations, coach team members, provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, and ensure SOP adherence, POS accuracy, and omnichannel execution including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to coach teams to deliver selling behaviors and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors to improve conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty (MOD) coverage, maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Ensure accurate and efficient use of POS and Self-Checkout systems for smooth transactions.
• Oversee loyalty programs enrollment and omni-channel services (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery).
