Job summary

The Michael's Companies in Watchung, NJ seeks a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture, drive sales results, and deliver an engaging customer experience across front-end and service operations.

You will coach teams, provide MOD coverage, and leverage POS and Self-Checkout systems to support smooth transactions while promoting loyalty programs and protection plans. Oversees Knit & Sew Shop, BOPIS/Delivery, and Custom Framing coordination.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to supervise front-end and service operations.
• Experience coaching teams to achieve sales and service KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and selling behaviors.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and ensure operational continuity.
• Oversee POS/Self-Checkout usage and customer support.
• Oversee in-store programs (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery, Loyalty).
• Lead Knit & Sew Shop and Custom Framing coordination.
• Train and develop team members and manage assets.
