Job summary

Michaels in Irving, TX is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing store team and drive strong sales and customer experience. You will oversee front-end and service operations, coach team members, and ensure brand standards and SOPs are consistently executed.

Responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, POS and Self-Checkout usage, BOPIS and Same Day Delivery, and loyalty program enrollment. Night/weekend shifts and bold customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure policy execution and store condition accountability.
• Coach customer experience and selling behaviors to improve conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout usage and smooth transactions.
• Drive omni-channel initiatives including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Partner with framing, balloons, and Knit & Sew Shop operations as needed.
