Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Las Vegas is hiring a Sales Manager to lead selling culture, front-end operations, and exceptional customer experiences. You will drive key sales and service KPIs through coaching, SOP compliance, and operational excellence.

You’ll supervise POS systems, support Balloons, Loyalty rewards enrollment, and omni-channel services like BOPIS and Same Day Delivery while mentoring team members for growth and performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and Company programs to ensure legal compliance and policy adherence
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintain floor leadership and service standards
• Ensure accurate POS and Self-Checkout usage for smooth transactions
• Oversee special programs and events (Balloons, Birthday parties) and Loyalty Rewards enrollment
• Champion MCC/Extend services and protection plans to customers
• Drive sales and operations in Knit & Sew Shop, including Cut Bar oversight
• Coordinate BOPIS and Same Day Delivery for timely orders
• Support Custom Framing operations with consultations and shop coordination
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building
• Maintain Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink
