Michaels Stores is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store, driving sales results and a premier customer experience.

You will oversee front-end and service operations, coach teams, manage POS, loyalty enrollment, and in-store programs while ensuring SOPs, safety, and brand standards. Flexible schedule includes nights and weekends in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead front-end and service operations.
• Strong customer-focused coaching and training.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards, maintain store conditions and results.
• Coach customer-experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout operations for smooth transactions.
• Oversee in-store programs and events (Balloons, birthday parties).
• Promote Loyalty Rewards Program to drive retention and visits.
• Drive protection plans uptake (MCC/Extend) in US stores.
• Lead Knit & Sew Shop and Cut Bar experience oversight.
• Ensure accurate execution of BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Support Custom Framing operations where applicable.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skills.
• Support Asset Protection to reduce shrink.
