Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Sales Manager in ST. CLAIRSVILLE, OH to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store and drive strong sales results.

You will oversee front-end and service operations, coach team members, and ensure brand standards and SOPs are executed consistently. You will champion customer-focused selling behaviors, manage MOD coverage, and oversee in-store programs such as loyalty, Balloons, and the Knit & Sew Shop while enabling efficient omni-channel

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience leading front-end and service operations.
• Ability to coach customer-focused selling behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards, driving store results.
• Coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors to improve conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout utilization for smooth transactions.
