Job summary

The Michaels Companies stores seek an experienced Sales Manager in Beaumont, TX to lead selling culture and drive sales, service, and operational excellence. You will coach staff, oversee POS, BOPIS, and in-store programs while ensuring policy adherence and high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include managing MOD coverage, training, and asset protection, with a focus on delivering strong omni-channel service and a engaging customer experience across departments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of Company policies and standards, holding team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty (MOD) coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout systems to support transactions and customer support.
• Oversee Balloons, birthday party operations, and in-store programs and events.
• Promote and enroll customers in the Loyalty Rewards Program to drive retention.
• Champion MCC/Extend services and protection plans for US customers.
• Drive sales and operational excellence in Knit & Sew Shop and Cut Bar experience.
• Ensure efficient BOPIS and Same Day Delivery execution.
• Support Custom Framing operations in select frame shops.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through onboarding and skill-building.
• Partner in Asset Protection to reduce shrink.
