Job summary

Kirkland’s is seeking a Sales Leader in Knightdale, NC. You will be customer-obsessed with strong product knowledge and presentation skills, implementing store plans and collaborating with the Store Manager to ensure smooth operations.

You will role-model excellent customer service, drive sales, train staff on loyalty programs and promotions, and uphold Kirkland’s home values. Weekend/evening flexibility is required for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; college preferred.
• Minimum 1 year management experience in retail or service industry preferred.
• Strong communications skills and customer selling experience required.
• Energetic, people- and results-oriented, with drive to succeed.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Leads, supports and values customer selling in-store and online (ship to store).
• Lead a customer-obsessed culture with greeting, re-engaging, educating, adding on and thanking customers.
• Understand role in sales growth and impact store profitability.
• Demonstrate interpersonal savvy to read cues and respond to customers.
• Educate customers on loyalty programs, promotions and merchandise to build the basket.
• Be a brand ambassador, respectful to customers and coworkers while supporting company goals.
• Lead by example, support and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Perform MOD duties including opening/closing, supervision, and related tasks.
• Assist in freight processing, stockroom organization, and merchandising presentation.
