Job summary

Staples is hiring a Retail Sales Supervisor to champion customer engagement and oversee front-of-store operations. You and the team will focus on increasing sales, conversions and service while engaging customers to provide complete solutions.

Hiring immediately, with potential for in-person interviews after applying. Responsibilities include coaching peers, driving weekly sales and merchandising, and ensuring a great customer experience across all store areas.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience selling retail products or services.
• Ability to engage with customers and understand their needs.
• Effective communication, organization, and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Experience coaching a team and supervising others.
• Ability to work in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer coaching and support to the store team to drive customer service, sales, and conversion.
• Focus on exceptional store experience, consultative selling, driving conversion, and total solutions for every customer.
• Own weekly sales and merchandising activities.
• Perform Floor Leader role directing the team to deliver a great customer experience.
• Champion company initiatives, adapt to change, and perform other duties as assigned.
• Remain available and support an engaging environment.
• Complete daily merchandising and sales tasks in the store.
• Assist with operational tasks in partnership with the GM.
• Peer coach team on behaviours to win and deliver great service and results.
