Job summary

Staples, Inc. is hiring Retail Sales Supervisors to champion customer engagement and oversee front-of-store operations. You will drive sales, conversions and service while engaging customers to provide complete solutions. Hiring immediately and offering flexible part-time or full-time hours.

The role includes peer coaching, weekly merchandising, floor leadership, and supporting store initiatives in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule to meet store needs.
• 1+ year selling retail products or services.
• Ability to engage with customers and understand their needs.
• Effective communication and organization in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience coaching a team or supervising others.
• Ability to manage conflicts in a calm, cooperative manner.
• Honesty and integrity in handling customer and business information.
• Ability to lift/move materials 10-50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer coaching and support to the store team to drive customer service, sales and conversions.
• Own weekly sales and merchandising activities.
• Perform Floor Leader duties to deliver a great customer experience across the store.
• Support company initiatives and adapt to changes or other duties as assigned.
• Maintain an engaging store environment and be available to the team.
• Complete daily merchandising and sales tasks within the store.
• Assist with operational tasks in partnership with the GM.
• Coach the team on behaviors to win, using role-playing and feedback.
