Job summary

POP MART in San Diego, CA is seeking a Retail Sales Lead to inspire the team and deliver an outstanding customer experience on the sales floor. You will act as Leader on Duty, coaching associates, managing daily operations, and driving sales performance with a premium brand experience.

The role requires 1+ year in retail with leadership or supervisory exposure, strong communication, and basic POS proficiency. Occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays are expected as part of peak periods.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience; leadership or supervisory exposure preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with customers and teammates.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and develop Sales Associates to meet goals.
• Comfortable interpreting basic business metrics to improve store performance.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for daily operations.
• Proficient with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer use.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive a customer-first culture.
• Serve as Leader on Duty in the absence of the Store Manager, guiding daily operations.
• Coach, motivate, and support Sales Associates to hit individual and store KPIs.
• Promote product categories, limited releases, and exclusive collections with informed recommendations.
• Execute opening/closing procedures and ensure policy compliance and cash handling.
• Support inventory, replenishment, and back-of-house organization; maintain a visually compelling store.
