Job summary

White House | Black Market, Inc. is seeking a Sales Lead in Gambrills, MD. You will partner with store leaders to supervise the team, model brand standards, and foster a welcoming, customer-centered environment that goes beyond transactions.

You will coach staff, manage daily operations, and help achieve team goals through clear direction and hands-on support. This role requires a passion for fashion, strong communication, and availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• A team player mindset with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability - including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist store leadership with general store operations, including opening/closing.
• Share brand priorities and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor and use omni-channel approaches.
• Provide coaching to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Manage operations tasks: cash handling, scheduling, inventory, replenishment.
• Stay knowledgeable about promotions and store policies.
• Support development and scheduling as needed.
• Share insights with leadership and contribute to a positive team culture.
